Domestic Violence Awareness Melinda Casey's sister was murdered.

We have felt many times throughout this ordeal that we were alone. The victim's rights advocates were (for lack of a better word) a joke! When I heard a rumor that Bass was being released from jail the DA and the detectives told me that they did not know if he was still in jail. They wouldn't be truthful at all, they waited until 2 weeks later (from the time we heard the rumor) to schedule a meeting with us about the grand jury's decision, then to make matters worse, when they called my niece they referred to the deceased as Melinda Casey. They did not even know my sister's name. I don't want people like them to be on my side, you know?
