He graduated from Modern Education Society’s College of Engineering, Pune, India and worked as a research assistance at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India and as a graduate research assistance at The Biodesign Institute, Arizona State University Anand is a member of MarsWithoutBorders and MarsTracASU as the robotics engineer  The MarsTrac and different parts of it are designed in modular way so that they can be taken in parts to distant exploration mission and be able to assemble easily with simple nut and bolts. This is really helpful in terms of space require to  transport the MarsTrac, the parts can be just stacked together and opened up at the mission site to be ready to assemble in less time.
