 Our guests this morning are Nina Zak Laddon, Sandra Liljenwall and Kristine Schomaker and they’re here to tell us all about the 2015 CA 101 Art Exhibit which starts July 31 and runs for the following two weekends at the AES Power Plant on Harbor Drive in Redondo Beach.

Nina Zak laddon is an artist, curator and community organizer. She was the Chair of South Bay Hands on Art in 2000 and Co- Founder of the Redondo Beach Art group (RBAG). She was RBAG's president from 2003 to 2007 and the chair of the Power of Art from 2005 to 2007. 

Sandra Liljenwall is the CA 101 Exhibition Director. She earned her Master’s degree in Public Art Studies, School of Fine Arts at the University of Southern California and assisted with the Director of Special Events with on-campus public art projects. 

Kristine Schomaker is a new media and performance artist, painter and art historian living and working at the Brewery artist complex in Los Angeles. 

She has an active life in the arts, previously teaching art history at Antelope Valley College and Pasadena City College, forming an artist collective in Los Angeles and organizing and curating numerous art exhibitions. 

The CA 101 Opening Reception takes place Friday, July 31 from 5 to 9 p.m. and is open to the public. The exhibit will be on display for two weekends:

Friday, July 31 through Sunday, August 2

Friday, August 7 through Sunday, August 9
