Our guests this morning are Bree Goldwater of BOX Human Landscapers;, Cindi McMasters of Chef’d;  and Barry Fisher of GROW.

Cyndi McMaster was the Business Development Director for Renaissance Fine Marble & Granite Works and recently embarked on her next business venture in her role overseeing Business & Client Development for Chef'd, a South Bay-based business launching this summer that will offer customers from across the country the ability to order meals to be cooked at their home.

She is currently the Ambassador Chair and sits on the Chamber's Board of Directors.

Barry Fisher is the founder of GROW, a fresh market located in Manhattan Beach. In addition, he owns M&B Produce, a fresh produce export firm. Barry graduated from UC Davis in 1991, majoring in East Asian Studies.

In spite of these challenges, GROW has thrived and become an integral part of the community.

Bree Goldwater was raised in the Seattle suburb of Des Moines, WA. After graduating high school, she was accepted to The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City where she spent a year and a half with some of today’s top fashion designers before deciding to take a job aboard a Japanese fishing vessel gutting salmon 14-hours a day off the coast of Alaska.

This morning, Barry, Bree & Cyndi are going to discuss their innovative business ideas and the challenges they faced to get their now thriving concerns off the ground.
