I am a poet, philosopher and photographer. An ambitious amateur. And I am not interested in making money by any of those means because I think it kind of takes the fun out of it.
I never really figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up, so I just continue to grow and be amazed by the world.
Our travels took us as far east as the tip of Texas to follow bird migrations. It is totally awesome what some birds go through to get from Pt. A to Pt. B. Our migration pattern like so many so called Snowbirds is to flee south for the winter and head up to the higher elevations for the hot summer days.
You are driving along one minute in the desert when the ground drops several hundred feet. Now you are looking at a green belt and sensuous river serpentining along a valley with red rock walls.
This valley has been occupied and lived in for thousands of years. And not much has changed. I took pictures of course, but you really do have to see it to believe it.
