Our guest this morning is Andy DiGirgis.

Andy is the proprietor of Tapas & Vino Restaurant located in the heart of Riviera Village.

Andy fell in love with wine at the age of 13 when he mustered up the courage to ask his father for a taste of what he was drinking and knew from that moment he had found something special.

Since then, Andy has pursued his passion for wine through education and research.

In 1998, Andy opened his first retail store in Palos Verdes. Wanting to offer more, he then opened the Gourmet Cheese & Wine Market in the Galleria Mall.

A small bar and wine tasting room offered him the opportunity to share his passion and knowledge with his customers. Three years later he opened The Wine Bar at Hollywood & Highland.

He had just decided to open a full-service restaurant when he came upon a vacant space in Riviera Village.

Having travelled extensively, both domestic and internationally, he and his wife liked the concept of wine paired with good tapas and in 2011 they opened Tapas & Vino.

Andy resides in Redondo Beach with his wife where they have raised their two grown children. He is an active member of the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce and a local philanthropic partner.
