Colleen Prietz: Production Manager for Saint Rocke

Our guest this morning is Colleen Prietz. Originally from England, Colleen has lived in the South Bay for the past six years and currently resides in Palos Verdes.

Colleen is with Saint Rocke Productions and is the production manager for the Hermosa Beach Summer Concert Series.

Colleen had been with Saint Rocke for 3 years when the City of Hermosa Beach approached the live music venue about taking over and producing the long running summer concert series.

For the first couple of years, Colleen and her partner, Allan Sanford, took on the massive project single-handedly. This year, they are fortunate to have several sponsors and an army of volunteers to assist them.

Last summer, The English Beat concert drew an enthusiastic crowd of over 8,000 music fans.

The first show of the season took place last weekend and featured Nikka Costa with special guest the Clayton Joseph Scott Band.

Colleen is passionate about bringing great music to the South Bay - both big name bands and local musicians - and this wildly popular event is a fitting showcase for her producing expertise.
