Thanks to Drs. Taber and Hungerford for a great show on RLS!

What a fantastic show today!  Our guests gave us such a practical understanding of Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) and Periodic Limb Movement Disorder (PLMD).

As Dr. Taber pointed out, if you think you may have Restless Legs Syndrome, talk to your physician.  If you primary care physician is unable to help you, schedule an appointment with a neurologist or sleep specialist.

If you need more information, here are some great resources:

Carpal Tunnel Radio

Restless legs can be caused by mineral deficiencies. It might take several months to see results, but taking a liquid mineral preparation or very good multi-vitamin/mineral supplements can help eliminate symptoms. If a deficiency is causing restless legs, there are probably other symptoms elsewhere in your body, too. Thanks for a very informative show. Sleep is SO important!
