The holidays find us hurried and stressed--shopping, making food for gatherings, traveling to meet family, and stressing over all of it. The thing that often gets left out in the busyness is sleep. Rochelle Zozula, Ph.D., joins I Slept Great Radio host Nancy Rothstein to talk about strategies for getting great sleep even during the holiday season. Dr. Zozula is the Coordinator of Behavioral Sleep Medicine at The Center for Sleep Medicine, Capital Health System, Hamilton, NJ. She is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Neuroscience, School of Graduate Medical Education, Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ. In addition, Dr. Zozula is the President of an educational, technical, and clinical consulting service in Sleep Medicine called Sleep Services International. Her work and research center on the behavioral issues that keep us from sleeping. Learning to change our poor holiday sleep behavior is a gift worth giving yourself! Tune in for this merry show!

Getting good sleep during the holidays

I don't know about you, but I'm ending my work week exhausted and thinking about all the holiday preparations I need to be doing over my weekend.  It makes me realize how much I have to learn from our upcoming guest, Dr. Rochelle Zozula.

Dr. Zozula treats behavioral issues that get in the way of good sleep.  The holidays are filled with all sorts of opportunities to do things that wreak havoc on your sleep (lack of a routine, travel, stress, and many others).

We hope you'll join us next week to celebrate that even the holidays can be a time of rest!
