A Conversation With Polina Zismanova

Polina started out in comedy doing improv for years while attending film school in NYC. In addition to performing in an improv group, she made many films and videos using New York City as the backdrop, and flavorful characters of her own creation. Polina switched to stand up once she realized she no longer wanted to share the stage. She has been doing standup on and off for about 16 years, taking long periods of time off to raise her four children.
