Turning his experiences into poetry detailing his struggles with addiction he looks to be a voice for the voiceless, giving hope to anybody caught in the grip of addiction, active users, people that are clean and the families that are affected. He uses words to paint a vivid picture of where the drugs had taken him from the first time he snorted OxyContin in the Mystic Projects of Somerville to hitting his lowest point with heroin in South Boston, the place he made up his mind that he was either gonna die or get clean then through Dorchester, at the Hamilton House, the placed that saved his life where he got clean and rediscovered his love for writing. CHANGES MADE FOR SUCCESS. 3. RESOURCES USED TO MAINTAIN SOBRIETY. I HAVE NO PROBLEMS ON TOPICS AND QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION.... Clean time presently: 27 months. Overdosed after 7 years clean on same date of sobriety. Nov6 2011. Would of had almost ten years except for one day of use which result was overdose. The thinking of a person goes right back to where they left off no matter how much time. DRUG USED. heroin but started with opiate pills after car accident. started using drugs 15 yrs old. ( marijuana)(gateway) drug. CRIMINAL activity: 1possession charge. 2. domestics, due to Relationship having two people using. two sickys dont make a welly. 3. Drug testing failures, from probation statuses. Resources. N.a., iOP, hotlines, sponsors, family support etc... most of all family support is needed not always. Family members should at ten Alanon, if family member is sick.
