  Hampton is a native St. Louisian, with a gift and passion for writing. Her writing is known for bringing the heat to readers, and her literary career is filled with many accomplishments. She is an Essence Magazine Bestselling Author, she was named a Favorite Female Fiction writer in Upscale Magazine by O.O.S.A., and was awarded Best Female Writer by Infini Promoters. Her dedication to her career, lead to a multi-book deal through Urban/Kensington Books, a publishing house that she refers to as her literary home. In addition to writing, and having an entrepreneur spirit, Hampton manages her own insurance business where she works as an Insurance Broker for many customers throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. She is also the founder of VOICES Books & Publishing, VOICES Books on Wheels, and VOICES Magazine. VOICES is the place where every voice can be heard, and Hampton uses her publishing company to assist writers through the POD process. Her goal has been to work with motivated writers who deserve a chance in this very challenging book industry. She’s been referred to as the “go to person” by many aspiring writers, and works as a literary representative for some of the most talented, upcoming and established authors today.

  Interview with Best Selling Author Rory D Sheriff

  Author and radio personality, Rory D. Sheriff, has traveled the world three times over living in various cities and countries. He contributes his time in the United States Army with the experiences he applied to his life which enabled him to tap into his creative side. Starting with poetry, Sheriff would become inspired to write by the simple things in life only to find that before he knew it stacks of note books full of poetry filled his room. Being influenced by such authors as Mary B. Morrison and Zane, he realized he also has a unique way with words and creative expression, thus setting out to write his first erotic novel, Get N’ Serious. Not knowing where it would lead or how his writing would be received, he took control his own destiny and reinvented himself by finally becoming a legitimate author. A family man, who values the support from his wife and kids, Sheriff’s thirteen year career in the radio industry, has laid the foundation for him to build upon in creating a well recognized name in the literary community. Currently a resident of Charlotte NC, Sheriff can be heard in three different markets located in Charlotte, NC, Greensboro, NC, and Columbia, SC.

  Interview with Best Selling Author Jahid

  Jihad discovered a love of books, mostly by black authors and historians, which was something that had never grasped his interest while in school. Jihad started researching and writing about subjects that he was sure many misunderstood. Subjects like history, religion, hood-psyche and society in general. His focus and discipline prepared him to write his first book, an autobiographical novel entitled Street Life. Since penning his first title from prison back in August of 1998, Jihad has gone on to write four other thought provoking, enthralling novels, Baby Girl, Riding Rhythm, MVP, and his latest Preacherman Blues. He is a bestselling author, motivational speaker and real estate investor. He is CEO of Envisions Publishing, LLC and Custom Care Landscaping & Home Renovations. He is also the founder and CEO of a non-profit organization, The Wake-Up Everybody Foundation, which is dedicated to positively and pro-actively re-awakening the African-American psyche through self-realization and re-education. The voices and hands of The Wake-Up Everybody Foundation show why it is imperative to READ to re-establish the identity of the urban nation, and how doing this will create positive, productive, pro-active, self-reliant people.
