    Hampton is a native St. Louisian, with a gift and passion for writing. Her writing is known for bringing the heat to readers, and her literary career is filled with many accomplishments.     J. L. King is a "New York Times" best-selling author of on the "Down Low," and Essence best-seller of "Coming up from the Down Low," philanthropist, publisher, and producer. He also has been featured on more than a thousand web sites. His television guest appearances have included Oprah, PBS, Bet, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, The Discover health channel and over 150 national news shows. He was executive producer of the BET documentary about HIV in Black America that was the number one watched documentary on BET in 2006. He also serves as CEO of the Lillie Mae King Foundation, a family foundation he founded to provide financial support to Black families who have been impacted by HIV/AIDS.

    Interview with Best Selling Author Daaimah S Poole

    Daaimah S. Poole was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Daaimah completed her first novel Yo Yo Love at the age of 19, without owning a computer or knowing how to type. Originally published by Oshun Publishing, and later picked up by Kensington Books, Yo Yo Love went on to become an Essence Magazine Best Seller. Her subsequent novels, Got A Man, What’s Real, and Ex-Girl to The Next Girl, have cemented her reputation as author on the move. Daaimah is also featured in Rocawear’s I WILL NOT LOSE CAMPAIGN Spring/Summer 2008 and is currently working on her seventh novel.
