Many years ago music and groups were limited to a small area of their home town,but with better means of transportation, the advent of radio broadcasting,and then the recording industry in it's birth gave a new and some what unlimited audience. from the early 1920's Country Gopel Music as it was known begin to spread from the country into the towns and even the city. Then in the beginning of the 30's radio shows many only 15 mins were becoming common place. By the late 30s a different sound begin to emerge with a young man from Rosine, KY. Mr Bill Monroe he and another new artist Doc Watson recorded the famous song What Would You Give In Exchange .Then The Morris Brothers, The Bailes Brothers, Flatt & Scruggs all were recording a music that was then named Bluegrass, The Old Country Gospel Music became Bluegrass Gospel Music,and it was and has been enjoyed all of the past 80 plus years.
