Chris Grebner graduated with honors from Le Cordon Bleu Portland’s Culinary Arts program, which emphasizes French cooking techniques using modern technology. While working with local restaurants and catering companies in Portland, Oregon, Chris decided he wanted to get even closer to the average dining table. This is where Spoon&Fork comes into the picture.
With a passion for sustainability and local produce, Chris hopes to narrow the gap between the farm and the table even more by using produce directly from the farmers when possible. He uses organic and sustainable products because he believes it’s the responsible thing to do, not to mention more delicious.
He created The Farmer's Table as a way to celebrate farms in his native Iowa, and he hosts each dinner from The Farmer's Table at various native farms, while each full course meals boasts farm fresh ingredients, also collected from local farmers.
