They are not just women filled with tattoos who pull up to the casino doors on a Harley, but include college-educated, professional African American women wearing business suits. On Sunday, June 14, TRR examines gambling addiction through the lense of fiction, followed by a closer look at how gambling addiction is affecting a growing number of African American women. Fiction: Michelle Larks, author of Til Debt Do Us Part, joins The Rapturous Reader, to discuss her soon-to-be released novel, which tells the story of a woman who has it all, including an all-consuming addiction to gambling.
