What happened with Trump? His actions in Syria present a sharp contrast from both his viewpoints from back in 2013 and the foreign policy he campaigned on in 2016. In 2013, he opposed any US intervention in Syria and regularly tweeted his opposition to President Obama's "red line" crossing overtures. In 2016, he pointed out that alliance with Russia could help defeat ISIS in Syria, and just a week ago, his administration announced it was no longer seeking regime change in Syria in the form of ousting Assad. So it comes as little surprise that many vocal Trump supporters, this progressive patriot included, are very disappointed in the recent air strikes against Assad's army instead of against ISIS. Meanwhile, the Clintonite wing of the mainstream media is celebrating Trump's 180 degree turn while some other pundits are suggesting a wait and see approach, assuring us that a 4D chess game is at play. Journalist Cassandra Fairbanks joins us LIVE to discuss this turn of events on Sunday, April 9, at 10 pm central time. @CassandraRules on Twitter, Cass is a longtime journalist, covering the Bradley (now Chelsea) Manning verdict, and currently reporting on international affairs for Sputnik and We Are Change, as well as independently through periscoping on the ground during riots, protests, congressional hearings, inaugurations and more. We'll talk Democrat to Deplorable, antifa, Trump and more.
