The Relationship Playbook

I love you, now what? It's a question you ask yourself as soon as the euphoria of "falling in love" ends and the real relationship begins. Although you've been down this path before, you still find yourself wondering... How do I stay in love? Well it's time to learn. The Relationship Playbook tackles the tough topics, and answers the difficult questions to help you stay in love, long after you've fallen in love.

    Date / Time:

Should you open up your relationship?

From the time you realized you could wipe your own ass, you were taught the monogamy fairy tale. You're supposed to find that ONE special, mystical, majestical, soul mate that you're completely sexually and emotionally compatible with. That ONE person that would fulfill all your needs - physical, financial, emotional, sexual, etc. After all, you're told that if you're in love - truly in love - then you will never have a need or desire for anything from anyone else.

    That's how relationships work, right?

They why do you find yourself attracted to someone else?
Why do you wish that your partner had some of the traits of someone else?

Sure, you may choose to not act on it, but why do you have those feelings if you're with your "one, true love"? If that one person is everything, then you shouldn't think of anyone else, right?

What do you do for those needs and desires that aren't being met? Do you just deny those desires, tell yourself you don't need them, and bury those feelings or do you quietly indulge those desires and cheat?

Doesn't seem like much of a choice, does it? Not get what you want, or lie, sneak around, and bring a whole new set of problems to your relationship.

So what do you do? An "open" relationship is a possibility, but is it a realistic one? Can you really get everything you want by having multiple relationships and yet you and everyone else be happy about it? And just what is an open relationship anyway? A bunch of crazy ass swingers that have wild parties and orgies on the daily?

Tonight on, The Relationship Playbook, we're going to answer these questions, dispel myths and discuss Open Relationships in detail with relationship expert and bestselling author, Tristan Taormino.

Even those happy in monogamous relationships would benefit from hearing her thoughts on what it takes to create and maintain a successful relationship.

AUTONOMY WITHOUT ACCOUNTABILITY IS WHAT PEOPLE WANT, THE DESIRE TO FULFILL ALL OF ONES DESIRES AND YET HAVE NO NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES TO BEFALL THE FULFILLMENT.IF YOU FIND A WAY TO ELIMINATE NEGATIVE FEELINGS LIKE GUILT ANS SHAME, MAYBE YOU CAN FULFILL YOUR EVERY DESIRE....BUT WILL YOU BE FULFILLED BY FULFILLING YOUR EVERY DESIRE?
