I Said, "I Do", Now What?

“If only” is a phrase you hear many times AFTER the fact in relationships…

If only I had taken the time to get to know him better…

If only we knew how to listen to each other…

If only I knew how to speak her love language…

If only we took our time and didn’t rush…

The list goes on and on.  Sure, advice is a dime a dozen.  You can always come across someone willing to tell you what you should have done or how to handle a situation AFTER the fact, but the unfortunate reality is that you receive more training on how to ride a bike than we do on our relationships.   It is rare that you are given the skills, support, and practical advice you need before you begin to have challenges.
