Jessy Paston

Jessy Paston has been obsessively taking photos since she can remember, capturing the beauty of her childhood home in Africa. She has always seen beauty in the world around her and has loved taking photographs of people.

She is a mum, the best but hardest job she has ever done, as well as an animal lover and a chocoholic!

Jessy started Jessography after her brother in law died from cancer. The part that shook her world was when he told her he only had 6 weeks to live. What would you do if you were told you only had 6 weeks to live?

Since then, she has been on a journey to truly find what makes her soul sing and she found her obsession with photography has helped her to heal and find out so much about herself.

Jessy has also become a Samaritans listener which she considers to be a great emotional achievement as it has helped her become a true listener, supporter and guide to people going through difficult times. She is also studying to become a professional counselor with the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body.

All these factors inspired Jessy to launch the therapeutic side to Jessography; a person centered way to heal through taking and looking at photos.

Jessy’s  mission in life is to capture magic family moments, to help women love themselves and their bodies and help end the stigma that surrounds mental health illnesses.
