For many years, DDT was considered to be a popular chemical. It was used to control insect pests on crop and forest lands, around homes, gardens as well as  industrial and commercial purposes. Today, a new family of chemicals called neonicotinoid pesticides are even more toxic than DDT and are polluting the earth with even more deadly consequences.  In this special series called “The Neonicotinoid View”, which is produced by The Organic View Radio Show, host June Stoyer and special guest co-host, Colorado beekeeper, Tom Theobald talk to former EPA analyst, Dr. Evaggelos Vallianatos. Stay tuned! Evaggelos Vallianatos, Ph.D., is a former EPA analyst. He is the author of hundreds of articles and several books, including “Poison Spring: The Secret History of Pollution and the EPA” (with McKay Jenkins, Bloomsbury Press, 2014).
