Our special guest this week is Mrs. O'Connell, a writer for the Examiner and has just been promoted as the head of the Faith and Community in Los Angeles Division of the Examiner. Kudos on her new position. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PLAY. Play with your G-d, yourself, with those you consider family and friends. Be playful in your worship and prayer. Like a wide eyed child in gleeful bliss. Play with yourself and others with abandonment to the box. There is no box, there is no box, there is no box. Play games you know and those you don’t. Make up a game to play, pass it on. Play in the water, play in the sand, play in bed, play in your mind, play in your heart. Play till you cry, till you fall exhausted to your knees. Play not as a child but as the you you are and want to be. Playing opens the cloak of life to a fresh existence. Letting your guard down long enough to be silly without repercussion to finger pointing and tongue clicking. Yipping and yelling, jumping and rolling on the ground. Any and all kinds of play. It’s good for the spirit, the body, the soul, the mind, the heart, you. Play. Tune in, listen in, call in and share your thoughts on today's theme.
