Wicked here. I have a few growing concerns and questions. 

Why does the military contiuously spout platitudes along the lines of "we're fighting for your freedom" without ever legitimizing those statements with evidence of exactly how invading other countries is protecting our freedom? With the poisonous plutocracy growing ever more apparent, wouldn't protecting the freedom of the people lean more towards joing the #Occupy movements and, ya know, actually supporting the people of the country they're willing to fight for?

 Why is wealth commonly accepted as a valid measurement of someones worth? It is obviously not a measure of practical skills or ability, nor a valid measure a persons character.
