Rel, is only 20 years of age. Growing up in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area, Rel was recording his own songs at the age of 11. A natural lyricist, Rel has begun to develop a following in the Pittsburgh area, and began buzzing with the release of his first mixtape “Grind” hosted by DJ Deez in the summer of 2009, his second mixtape “Business Hours“ hosted by DJ Haze and DJ Capcom, spring of 2010, and his third, “Storytelling,” recently released in December of 2010. Rel jumped onto the Pittsburgh hip hop scene opening up for Atlantic Records Recording artist, Wiz Khalifa , and headlining his own show at Club DV8. Spending countless hours recording in Pittsburgh's ID LABS Studio, Rel was immediately noticed by the likes of DJ Deez and other Pittsburgh Producers. Rel has also caught the eye of NFL star, Darrelle Revis, Cornerback for the New York Jets, who is heavily involved in music himself. Revis has shown Rel support in his music and is still involved in career.
