In the living translation of the bible in 2 Peter 1:5-7 the word tells us that   In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, 6 and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, 7 and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone. See when we concentrate on the oneness of this new life in CHRIST, our purpose is to walk a life of oneness in unity of mind, thought and purpose (1Cor 1:10) our example must be exemplified by these 7 quality traits:

1. Virtue(called) 2Pet1:3 fulfilling GOD’s design for life of moral excellence
2. Knowledge (2Tim2:15)studying GOD’s word to gain wisdom to combat falsehood
3. Self-Control (Titus1:8) revering GOD(fear) so much that we choose GODLY behaviors
4. Perseverance(Romans5:3-4)attitude of hope through confidence in GOD”s character
5. Godliness(1Tim2:2) honoring GOD in every area of our walk
6. Compassion(1Pet3:8) warmhearted affection to anyone no matter their circumstances
7. Love(1John4:7)sacrificing for others because GOD is love
