Broken Silence is a non-profit organization that serves to give children and parents an outlet to discuss child abuse, molestation, and preventative measures. “Sexual abuse can affect both young women and young men. In order to end this horrific epidemic we have to be willing to break the silence,” boldly states Sheena. Ms. Herod has already made a grave impact with Broken Silence while engaging with not only her community, but with children and abuse victims nationwide.
