What can I do to be a more effective Christian?

Christianity is taking a beating today because of the way that many carry themselves. The church has lost its place in the community. what can we do let people know that there are people that are still trying to live this thing in the right way. It is time to bridge the gap between the church and the community. People need to know that the church is still the safest place to be and there still people who care for the well being of the community.It's time to represent Christ in the way he commissioned us to do.
