Adam Meir Was Born in Hungary and Immigrated to Israel in 1988. After seeing movies of Charlie Chaplin he was inspired to become an actor. Adam started acting at the age of 11 in a little acting class where he got all the lead roles because he was the only boy. He graduated with honors in Theater Arts from the top High School for the Arts in Tel Aviv - Ironi Alef. Adam served in the Israeli army for 3 years where he received an honorable discharge as a First Sergeant. Immediately after he was accepted to Israel's top acting school, Yoram Levinstein in Tel Aviv where he received an Excellency Scholarship for his work. When he received the news that had been accepted to the world renowned American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and was fully sponsored, he packed his belongings and moved to Los Angeles to make that dream come true in a bigger scale. He finished the 2 year program and was accepted to the prestigious Academy Company for an extra year to perform in 14 different plays. Since he graduated he is taking part in big and important projects such as Quentin Tarantino's "Freedoms Fury", The Oscar Nominated and Golden Globe winner "Waltz With Bashir", and much more. He played roles in Hebrew, Hungarian, Arabic and of course English. He co-founded the Cheekish Productions winning many awards and grants such as, The Nordern Farm "Granted" scheme, and it was the final nominee of The Guide Awards for best Professional Production 2009 for “The Pillowman”. Adam has produced and played the role of Michal in The Southern England tour of "The Pillowman" by Martin McDonagh in 2008. Adam is also a member of Don McLeod's "Living Statues Company" and he is performing with them all over the country. ADAM MEIR
