Tonight we will discuss the importance of the 2012 vote both for the individual and the collective effort of our civil community. We will argue against the debatable issues of how our vote really doesn’t count, politician will simply lie to us and do what they want to do anyway and it doesn’t matter who is in the white house it is all the same any way because God will have His way. We will address how voting affects our immediate families, communities and our psyche. We want to remember the legacy of the vote for the black community and the importance of the vote to a sense of activism. We also want to articulate the differences between the two up for the Presidency: President Obama and GOP Elect Romney. There has not been a real conversation regarding an independent candidate but we will address the possibility of a third candidate. Note: your vote may not lead to correct policy writing however it may lead to correct action that directly helps you and/or your neighbor. Lend your voice to this conversation and let’s help each other get better.
