The Obama Administration is in its final push to get the minimum 7 million enrollees signed up for Obamacare by the end of the month to make sure the program can be sustainable. I have always argued if it was such a good idea then you wouldn't need to convince people that then needed to sign up. You don't have to make something mandatory if it is something everybody wants and need. I don't see Apple telling everybody that they have to get every iPhone that comes on the market or Ford saying everybody has to buy one of their cars to make sure they have dependable and reliable transportation. Healthcare is a personal responsibility that each individual has to decide if they want to risk not having it. Since the ACA is targeting adults then adults are capable and competent enough to make the decision to be insured the same way we can determine the kind of job we want, the neighborhood we live, the mates we choose and many other crucial decisions we make on a daily basis.
