Head Coach Travis Wells of Edina Hgh School Boys Lacrosse joins us to discuss strategies he has used with his team.
Travis Wells is entering his second season as the Head Coach of Edina Lacrosse. In 2012, Wells led Edina to its first state tournament appearance and was awarded the Minnesota State High School Coach of the Year.
Coach Wells grew up in Severna Park, Maryland and attended Mt. St. Joseph High School in Baltimore. He went on to play Division 1 lacrosse at the University of Notre Dame before graduating in 2003. Over his career, Coach Wells netted 27 goals and 13 assists. His Notre Dame team successfully reached the NCAA Final Four in 2001. In 2003, Coach Wells was named Team Captain and received All-Great Western Lacrosse honors.
