Carter Averback, interior design and social media

Carter Averbeck is the owner of not one but two creative businesses. The first one being a life long love of art and the creation of it through Trompe Decorative Finishes, where murals, fresco and decorative painting adorns the walls and ceiling of many homes and businesses.

The second business, a more recent evolution, sprouted from Trompe and thatbusiness is called Omforme. Omforme is a norwegian word meaning “to transform”and that is exactly what Carter does with vintage and mid century furniture to recreate new and exciting revisions of familiar pieces of iconic furniture design.

Carter received a fine arts degree from Western Washing University in Bellingham Wa, He has been creating beautiful scenery ever since.
