Erasing the Obligation of an Unwanted Child

Today's Topic: Many times women are stuck taking care of children alone. Is it something that they set themselves up for? If it is established upon conception that the man does not want the child, should he still be financially and emotionally responsible for it? Is that fair to him? Is it fair to the woman who's left caring for a child because she chose to give the child life?
