Season's over...now the real deal begins!

Being as that we are not back on the air until January 14, I think it's a good time to write a blog as the NFL regular season comes to a close.  The real season begins now....not the playoffs but which coaches will get the ax.  Here's my list with the most likely at the top:

    1) Romeo Crennel- A no brainer I know. The Browns quit on him weeks ago.  When a pro
team hasn't scored a TD in weeks, it shows a definate lack of effort.  Hell, even the Lions
         score every now and then.
    2) Marvin Lewis-This dude should have been fired two seasons ago.  His team are thugs and
         outlaws.
    3) Rod Marinelli-Why isn't he at the top of the list...because the Fords are just stupid enough
to keep him after an 0-16 season.  This man may still have the players' ear but HE CAN
        NOT COACH!
    4) Eric Mangini-The Jets spent and spent and spent.  Brett was suppose to the icing on the
playoff cake but after a quick start he faded like the old man he is.  Someone is going to fall
on the sword...and it ain't Brett.
    5) Dick Jauron-Big things were expected in Buffalo this year.  Some problems were injuries,
Edwards and Lynch foremost, but Jauron just didn't get the most out of his players.  And
they looked like they never played in the elements before vs. New England.
    6) Norv Turner-This guy is the worse NFL head coach ever.  How many times does he have to
fall on his ass for GMs and oweres to figure out he is not an head coach.  As luck would
have it,  the Chargers play in the AFC West, the suckiest division in football.  If they lose this
       weekend, fire him please!
    7) Jack Del Rio-Another coach who is not getting the most out of his players especially his
QB David Garrard.  He may however survive to coach another day in J'ville.
    8) Tom Cable-WHO??????? He may survive because, seriously, who really wanted to work
for Skeletor (Al Davis).  Can you remove an owner if he is senile?
    9) Jim Haslett-The Rams are almost a big a joke as the Lions and Browns.  With few
exceptions there is no talent.  Coaching these three teams is like pissing in the wind...you
tend to get it back in your face.
    10) Herm Edwards-Right behing them in the joke department is the Chiefs.  How do you
expect to win when your QB was Brodie Freakin' Croyle?  Remarkablely, there is no
rumblings about Herm, but I'd leave to protect my sanity.

That's it for now. Be back next week with my picks for best NFL coaching jobs this season.  The Locker Room returns January 14 at 9:00 PM.
