The Dallas 6 are men wo were all in the Restricted Housing Unit at SCI Dallas in Dallas, PA.  Dallas 6 were both witnesses and victims of abuse which they reported to HRC.   Their story  began in April of 2010 when copy of an abuse report came into the prison from hrc.  Recognizing names of inmates, the guards began a rampage of torture.  Isaac sanchez was the first to get tortured.  He was left in a restraint chair overnight, when an inmate should be in this in the chair for no longer than 2 hours.  After witnessing the torture of Sanchez, Dallas 6 were promised they were next and in order to protect themselves from further abuse, they barricaded their doors and covered their cell windows. When the guards asked them to remove the covering, they asked for outside intervention.  Instead of outside intervention, the guards dressed in riot gear and beat, tased, pepper, sprayed and teargassed the guys, then extracted them and left them in cages for hours some up to 12 hours. My son filed a lawsuit against DA Jackie Musto Carol, because he had filed complaints with her and she consistently turned a blind eye.  Hrc also filed a criminal complaint with the state police on behalf of the men.  Instead of an investigation, the evidence was turned over to the DOC who along with the DA filed bogus riot charges against the men.  Initially the charge was a disciplinary misconduct for refusing to obey an order.  4 months later in retaliation the charge became riot.  4 years later they are still in court for the bogus charges.  It has taken more than two years just to rule on pretrial motions and many criminal procedures have been illegally violated from the beginning of the case to present.  The DA and the Judge are working together to railroad these men and convict them of a riot when all they did was peacefully cover up their cell windows.
