Brian Fain Founder of the Massillon Ghost Hunters Society, Founded Sept. 1st 2004.
At a young age Brian had his first experience after his grandfather passed away, one that would inspire him to start researching the paranormal. Throughout his grade school years he checked out library books on ghosts, even doing a large book report on them. He hoped to uncover the truth, whether ghosts were real.
This serous interest in the paranormal continued into his adult life, which lead to the founding of Massillon Ghost Hunters Society. Brian has always been passionate about education and research into the paranormal. He developed a training class for all new members, to educate them on the quality of research, on standards and ethics, and the proper handling of equipment.
Brian is committed to helping people experiencing paranormal events at their residences, or places of business. Massillon Ghost Hunters Society members believe the difference between an ordinary investigation and an extraordinary one, is the amount of research on the building beforehand.
A spirit profile is done for each case. MGHS believes in the credo “quality over quantity” where the number of cases is concerned. At the 10 year anniversary of the founding of Massillon Ghost Hurters Society, Brian and his group consisting of his wife Lena, co-founder, family members and close friends, continue to strive to better understand the paranormal, for Brian, a lifelong journey.
One of Brian's favorite quotes is from Sherlock Holmes “Once you have eliminated all other possibilities; whatever remains, regardless of how improbable it may seem, must be the truth.”
