    The India DeClair Show

    Hello World.  All of the talk of the tired, fossilized, and emotional manipulating tool of race . . . in our presidential election, has many saying Fmr. Secretary of State Colin Powell . . . endorsed Senator Barack Obama because of race. 

    Well, well, well . . . could it be said that those same people are supporting Senator McCain because of his race?  

    My point . . . the entire issue of race in this very important election is pure distraction!!!

    America is in a financial market freefall, our economy is teetering on the brink of massive unemployment, tremendously low production, a total mortgage meltdown, due to predatory loans . . . and 20+ years of maniacal, and dumb deregulation.  

    The United  States Government has taken over the banking industry of America.  HELLO!!! 

    We are in the middle of two long protracted war(s).  Afghanistan is a very tenuous situation at best.  Iraq, clearly an ill thought out military effort . . . is a forever scar on America.  Our soldiers are not being cared for with the dignity and honor they so rightly deserve!!!

    Americas education system is in the tank.  Dropout rates . . . escalating to unbelievable highs!!!  Academic and intellectual curiosity . . . in America are dying on the vine. 

    Healthcare in America is absolutely broken.   Our nations emergency rooms are the interim universal healthcare.  They are stretched to the max . . . treating many non emergency patients . . . who simply have nowhere else to go.

    And on . . . and on . . . and on . . .

    So . . . as we come to the two week mark . . . in this long and daunting process of presidential politics . . . do not give me one sweet bit about . . . race. 

    The issues are too massive, colossal, severe, and serious. 

    For all the racial polarizing, political barf blatherers . . . who go on, and on, and on . . . about race, and whatever other distraction they can come up with . . .

    Is it actually YOU who are voting because of race . . . ? 

    I say thank you to you all . . . for displaying before the entire globe . . . your incoherent, illuminated, and absolute . . . ignorance!!!
