Hello World.  As I sit with much gratitude to enjoy the morning beverage, I see this . . . "1 out of 2 with HIV in U.S. is black."  Damn.  I almost drop the cup.

According to www.cnn.com the brutal, undeniable truth is right there in black and white.  CNN contributor Roland S. Martin's commentary is must read.  Read it!!!

This is going to be real. 

Women . . . we are bedding men that we know bed others.  Many . . . men are not gender specific and are having "secret sex" with other men (plural) . . . and then wanting sex with you . . . and you grant it!!!  

Sheer, utter desperation, a complete lack of self respect, and self loathing . . . can be the only reasons, for this life killing cycle.  A complete breakdown in the concept and ability to say . . . NO!!! 

We as a community do not want to talk about sex.  We have been negligent in coming clean about our behaviors.  Burying our heads in the sand.  We have praised and rewarded imagery that is counter productive to our children, ourselves, and our communities.  

Until we, women admit our desperation to have "so called" affectionate (and many times non affectionate and damn near brutal) contact in any way, under any circumstances, with anyone, doing anything, without any thought . . . we, women will continue to be victims . . . of our own behavior.  Behavior . . . period!!!

HIV AIDS is preventable.  Women . . . there is no way to look at these statistics and see progress.  This is tragic, and must be dealt with. 

Women . . . hear this . . . WE MUST CLOSE OUR LEGS!!!  Until we own the physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, and economic aspects of PUSSY, and take seriously the responsibility, respect, and regard that comes with our essence as females . . . we will continue to be its victim!!!

HIV AIDS IS PREVENTABLE!!!  Decades of loose, non committed, shallow, chemically warped, and illusion induced cheap sex, has brought us to where we are today!!! 

There is no such thing as "free love."  There is no such thing as "no strings."  There is no such thing as "friends with benefits."  Where are the benefits . . . ?  Exactly . . . there are none. 

This is a tremendously sad fact.  A brutal, undeniable reality . . . HIV AIDS is killing us . . . 

Will we step up?   Will we close our legs . . . ?  Will we turn the music off . . . ?  Will we put the acrylic stilletos up . . . ?  Will we wake up?  

Unfortunately for many of our mothers, daughters, aunties, cousins, sisters, friends, lovers, coworkers, church goers, brothers, sons, fathers, uncles, and so many others . . . it's too late.

HIV AIDS is preventable.  Will we wake up . . . ?
