    The India DeClair Show

In rememberence . . . We lost a great one.  Mr.Tim Russert of NBC, and MSNBC TV passed away doing what he loved . . . today.  He was 58.

This will sink in over time.  This moment is significant in American journalistic and political history.

As a former journalism student, to watch Mr. Russert was to watch journalistic, political, and overall professorship.  You just knew you were watching someone special.  Sunday morning . . . watching "Meet The Press" was desired, mandatory, and for me personally . . . required.  I loved every minute of it.

I liked watching Tim Russert get so excited about covering the Presidential election . . . you could tell he was having the time of his life.  He has always been so into it.  Committed, old school, solid heart, earned pedigree.  He always stayed connected to us.  He will be eternally remembered, and truly missed.  He was the gold standard.

You could just tell he was a great dad.  You could tell he had a great dad.  He was an example of what could be . . . if you had a dedicated, committed, devoted, loving dad.  On this Fathers Day weekend, God called one of his angels home.  God Bless Mr. Russert Senior, and his son and wife.

"If It's Sunday It's Meet The Press"  will never be the same.  America, and the world lost a great one.

God Bless Mr. Russert, the Russert family, friends, and colleagues.

    India DeClair
