    Hello World.  With this being the week of July 4TH . . . America is definitely on my mind.  America's youth in particular.

    America's youth, of all cultures has been targeted by unquenchable thirsty, greedy, maniacal, and immoral . . . media executives, labels, distributors, and conglomerate media corporations.  The tool of their target . . . the ignorant, anti everything decent, vile, woman hating, violent, booze swigging, drug using, woman having, denigrating, and brilliant mind wasting . . . hip hop and rap (so called) music.

    I want to say . . . I respect creativity and artistry.  However, to deliberately write, promote, glamorize, platform, and sell this self hating (so called) music is just that . . . self hating.  Hip hop and rap, has and will continue to have a negative impact greater than we can imagine. 

    There is an obvious audience for this stuff.  I get that.  They have been programmed, and "pickled," by the most powerful . . . and always unspoken of power that is televised and audio media . . . and the ever powerful tool of repitition.  Repeat something over and over and over . . . and eventually it will begin to "pickle" (October 5TH, What's in your pickle? www.declarationsofindia.blogspot.com) your mind.  Especially a youthful mind, a brilliant youthful mind.  Absolute control . . . modern style.

    Many in media have used this insulting, ignorance based tool of hip hop and rap, to denigrate and destroy.  All in the name of the almighty dollar.  Many of our nations youth has fallen to the hip hop, and rap culture . . . long term that will not serve them, or America well. 

    Chasing bling instead of books has, and will continue to cost us as a nation . . . plenty.  Incareration, lack of education, inability to obtain, maintain, and be succesful at a job, teen pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, no fathers in the home, loss of hope, sense of helplessness, and on, and on, and on . . . Anti civility is being taught, told and sold, so easily with rhyme and a drum machine. 

    We are in an unprecedented time in America's history.  Our nation is changing before our eyes.  We need sober, bright, strong, educated, brilliant youth preparing to run, maintain, and propel America into the future. 

    On this week of the 4TH of July . . . i'm concerned.  What about you . . . ?  What do you see in America's youth . . . ?   Where are your concerns . . . ?  Is America's youth a concern of yours . . . ?

    Hello World.  Sucking, blowing, and breathing.  Slow, steady, and strong . . . getting big sweaty!!!  I've got to get my exercise discipline on!!!

    With all the mania of our World and our nation . . . thank God for release!!!  With gas being five bucks a gallon, and climbing, with the presidential race long and winding, with crime blistering (who is the evil bastard that shot the fireman investigator . . . damn), with fires out west, lot's of fires, flooding in the midwest, homes not selling, and more folks losing jobs . . . damn.  

    Unplugging and replenishing is mandatory.  For me, it is a difficult and deliciously long . . . walk, jog, run, and then drag myself back home.  Ahhh.  Now, bring on the mania . . .

    Hello World.  Saturday means different things to different folk.  I get that.  Work, kids, sports (fill in the blank) practice, have the yard sale, do the grocery shopping, and all that pending the price of gas hasn't tanked your schedule altogether . . . yeah Saturday's are all encompassing.  

    However, make sure you take time to do something for you.  Whether just a moment or a span of moments . . . remember you.  Yeah, it may feel selfish . . . but do take time to replenish.  Even if just to breathe.

    Go ahead, it's Saturday.

    Hello World.  Thanks to all for tuning in and touching base with the show . . . we were all over the map tonight. 

    First off . . . Happy 90th Birthday to Fmr. South African President and Nobel Peace Prize Winner . . . Mr. Nelson Mandela.  You go Mr. Mandela . . . celebrate in grand style.  And by the way . . . thank you for saying NO to Naomi Campbell.  I love Naomi . . . but to have her participate would have sent the wrong message.

    Calling all good and decent teachers . . . what the hell is wrong with the not good and not decent teachers!!!  We have got teachers using the school rosters as a dating pool.  Wrong!!!  This is unacceptable!!! 

    The people of Zimbabwe deserve so much better than what they have had to endure.  Calling all Global leaders to put the necessary pressure on President Mugabe . . . so the people of Zimbabwe can live in peace . . . and pursue a life of dignity.

    Didn't Obama and Clinton look like a team to day in Unity New Hampshire . . . ?  Is that all fake and show . . . ?  Is there a new reality of Clinton actually being on the Obama ticket as VP . . . ?  Stay tuned.

    Protecting family and property was on the minds of the U.S. Supreme Court as they ruled yesterday.  If you are a gun owner . . . protect your family from your weapon.  Put it up, and lock it up . . . so the little curious hands of a child does not get to a gun.  We have all seen the tragic reality when guns are not locked up.

    Hello World.  With the presidential campaign in full swing . . . candidate Barack Obama has already raised the bar of modern day politics. 

     

    Look let's face it . . . politics is not pretty.  The selling of politics being cute is ridiculous.  Our nation faces unprecedented issues . . . the value of the dollar sloping, the cost of a barrel of oil over 140.00, food prices rising high and fast.  Petroleum products, no matter what it is  . . . will be higher. Period. 

     

    Sure there are trememdous opportunities in the economy now.  Economic downturn is when growth can begin.  However, millions of Americans are hurting . . . and it will only get worse. 

     

    Political shananigans, drama(s), and wicked perspectives are tired, played out, and not what America needs.  The political bar must be raised . . . so we Americans can somehow figure out . . . the massive, collosal, political and economic messes we find ourselves.

    Hello World.  Thank You . . . Nelson Mandela for saying NO to Naomi Campbell!!!  Mr. Mandela's 90TH birthday festivities will go on without Ms. Campbell in any official capacity. 

    Now look . . . first of all to have hit the genetic jackpot is fabulous in itself.  To land a fantasy job . . . make tremendous money, experience tremendous luxury . . . and still be in a business that flushes faces like toilet paper . . . is a remarkable legacy and damn hard work.  I get that . . . and respect it.    Naomi Campbell is a stunner.  Period.  However, with that grand opportunity . . . should come some sense.  Naomi . . . come on!!!

    Nelson Mandela said NO . . . you need to evaluate this, and check yourself.  She has referred to him as her "honorary grandfather" . . . well then this looks like tough love. 

    Certain careers allow certain excuses . . . athletes, models, entertainers . . . I am glad to see . . . Mr. Mandela is not hearing or having any excuses this time.  Happy 90TH Birthday Mr. Nelson Mandela . . .
