Hello World.  Exit . . . stage Wright.  Thank you Reverend Dr. Jeremiah Wright.  You have had your say, and had the opportunity to define yourself to the world.  Now . . . exit stage Wright.

Senator Barack Obama is running for president, not Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright.  The polarization of recent events will require Senator Obama to transcend the current drama.  Bringing the American people together is the order of this era. 

The dialog of the media machines pundits are clearly presumptive guesswork.  Controversy for the sake of controversy, all in the name of keeping YOU tuned in.  It would be refreshing to hear someone say, "you know, I simply do not know enough about this to comment . . . intellectually."  Instead, we get the blathering of mono cultural, well paid, insulated, folks who happen to be in front of the camera, with microphones fully open. 

Senator Obama has presented his case in a race neutral tone.  Policy over controversy.  The new generation is about reconciliation and restoration.  Controversy will not pay a bill, save a mortgage, save a job, fill a tank, save an independent trucker from going bust, or buy any groceries.  Policy, and not controversy should be the order of the era. 

Many are entertained by the fervor, and some are fatigued from having their intelligence insulted.  The media machine provides a puppet show.  However, keep the eye of your eyes on the puppeteer.

Hello World.  Page three.  The Sean Bell case is disturbing for so many reasons.  I offer my deepest condolences, may you find peace and justice for you, and your families. 

Our lives have not been valued by authorities, our lives have not been valued by our own.  Blacks must be honest about what we have been doing to ourselves. 

We have tolerated gangs, hoodlum lifestyles, drug selling, and a complete glamorization or violence and loose non committed sex.  "So called" entertainers, serve us this imagery morning, noon, and night . . . by profit thirsty moguls, who don't give a damn about you or your children. 

We have allowed ourselves to be dumbed down by imagery and media programming.  This dance is between the artist, and the profit thirsty moguls.  Sell the illusion, no matter who it destroys.  Period. 

We shoot, kill, denigrate, and destroy each other . . . and we know it.  We impregnate and walk away with no hesitation . . . and we know it.  We let our children grow without taking their brain formation seriously . . . and we know it.  Momma's, you have children with you, from birth to 5 years of age . . . children should have their primary skills: spelling, counting, colors and shape formation, before entering any classroom . . .  and we know it. 

Instead, we plop their fresh, brilliant, new, innocent minds in front of slut/thug 101 better known as "so called" television and "so called" music videos, from "so called" entertainers, and we know it. 

Until we . . . Black America, take our lives, and the lives of our children seriously, don't expect it from anyone else.  You had better know it.

Hello World.  Thank you Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright . . . for not allowing tabloid thirsty media . . . to define you.  We are in tough times and for many, tough times is all they know.  Truth is the only way.

Have we "all" been pimped by the pop culture, political, societal, medical, academic and media process?  This is an exercise in awareness.  Webster defines pimped as "to make use of often, dishonorably, for one's own gain or benefit."  Become aware of who is pimping you . . . 

Medical care, or lack thereof . . . is definitely pimping many Americans.  Many are scared to leave the limping insurance plans they barely have, and greatly pay for.  Just like the pimp to maintain power through fear. 
 
Children are definitely "pimped."  Web intelligence born in, they need to be protected from their own capabilities, and nurtured to be more than machines.  Parents grow up, your children so desperately need you.  

Become aware of who is "pimping" you . . . and more importantly, your children.  This is an exercise in awareness.
