Mastering the Game of Life - Take good care of yourself.

Today I made a deliberate effort to be a remider for the people I know & care about to take better care of themselves.  Believe me I know there is a lot you need to accomplish today and no one actually stops to think about how many deep breaths they're taking or if they're sitting up straight enough.  But people are depending on you to keep on trucking.

Whether you are a parent or friend, spouse, teacher, entreprenuer, activist or all the above someone is depending on you to keep your engine in tip top condition so you can serve others in the way only you can.  Your health really is your wealth.  When its gone you'll find its pretty hard doing the things you love to do or keeping up with the people you love to do them with.

So for those of you who are aiming to master the game life along with me, a good starting point is to conquer your appetite for things you don't need.  Instead of lemonade, soda and Iced Tea drink more water your body will thank you for it. Challenge yourself when you get the urge for a 2nd bag of chips or another pack of cookies.  This is where the struggle begins.

Better than focusing on what you don't want is focusing on what is good for you.  Make sure throughout the day you remind yourself to keep your back straight.  No hunching over your keyboard.  Breathe deep & slow every once in a while.  Let the stress pass you by.  If you work in an office or even worse a cubicle take a break, go outside soak up some sunshine & fresh air.

The point is do what you have to do for you. Take better care of yourself. I'd like to see ou get better with time.  We're not just trying to make it.  We intend to master this life.  God willing.  :-)
