What standard do you use to measure a Good Man? Some people measure a man by looking at his shoes, the way he dresses, his physique, his car. Still others look at who he associates with, who he works for or what his interests are.
When you get past the surface you can see what matters in a person. But how can you operate this way in a world of hype & illusion? As much as we’ve all have heard “Don’t judge a book by its cover” it’s the social norm when meeting and dealing with people. First impression is a lasting one. Right?
Do you take the time to find out how people fit into your world and how you fit into theirs? Everyone has their place you know? How much time do you take to find out what a person is all about before you categorize them?
Recently I decided to ask people the question “What are you passionate about?” Most people really haven’t given it much thought. Some give vague or very general answers but occasionally someone drops a 10 second mission statement that makes me say “Whoa!”
I’m looking for the good brothers (and sisters) who are destined to walk this path of success, forward progress and self mastery with me on The High Road. So tell me. What are you passionate about?
Lot of questions in this post huh? J
