The High Road  

Tonight I had an awesome converstion and read an awesome blog post that broght the same question to mind.  How do I harness the power of the community or communities that I am a part of?

I have been approaching it all wrong up till now. I have been saying build a community.  But apparently everyone of us is already part of a community.  Community of poets, moms, dads, families, entrepreneurs, etc.  Whether we know it or not you are in a community.

If your community is the people who listen to your show you've got to know what they want.  If you want them to stay loyal to you then find out how you can help them get what they want. 

After my conversation with Mari Torres I realized that she gets it. You harness the power of the community by making sure that all its members can get something of value. When you make a way for members in the community to grow strong & become successful then you grow stronger and become more successful.
