    My Personality Type - MBTI

    I am in Raleigh NC this week.  My job sent me to a supervisors training program where I took a personality assessment called the Myers Briggs Type Indicator.  It opened my eyes to quite a few things I didn't realize about myself.

    It turns out that I have the personality type that likes to initiate & get the party started but then I get bored easily & like to move on to the next thing.  I also have an affinity for problem solving but sometimes I do create problems when there are none to solve. 

    If you have ever wondered why you do the things that you do and what makes you tick, then I highly recommend you take this assessment. What can you tell me about your type?  And what can you tell me about what you don't know about yourself?

    What type of people do you work best with?   How do you work with people who have a different style than you.   Take the assessment for yourself and tell me what you learned about yourself.

    Strengthening Family, Building Community - My Passion

    Recently on Twitter someone asked the question "What are you passionate about?"  Now folks who know me can tell you I'm pretty passionate about a lot of things.  But I only had 140 characters so I had to choose my words carefully. 

    After I thought for a few minutes my answer was "Decent people, Strong closeknit families and vibrant , thriving communities."  Even thinking about it now makes me smile.  I spend a lot of time socializing on the internet.  And in my mind the type of people that I call "friends" here on Blog Talk Radio or Twitter are the building blocks of what makes life great.

    I consider time spent on social networking sites worthwhile when I get something of value from the other people and when they get something valuable from me.  I try to only spend time interacting with people who want to see a better tomorrow just like I do.   And I've met quite a few who really honor relationships & think its important to give the next generation a better situation than we currently have in our hands.

    As I make more Blog entries in the future I'm going to share more of my thoughts on these things that mean so much to me.  Being a man of Integrity, Being the best father I can be, Being the best husband in the world, Being a valuable member of any community I'm apart of. 

    For now I'll leave you with a question.  What are some of the things that you wish someone would have told you about marriage or relationships before you got involved?
