A class act the sports world should learn from... Sidney Crosby's birthday

On Friday August 7, Stanley Cup Winner and Captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Sidney Crosby will be bringing the Lord Stanley's cup home for his birthday. Crosby will have his Stanley Cup "parade" in Halifax, Nova Scotia in what really should be seen as a community event. Crosby will be meeting with Canadian Sailors, Solders, airmen, airwomen and civilian employees. Crosby will even bring the Cup to a local Children's Hospital.after that busy morning, Crosby will head to Cole Harbour his hometown and have an expected 40,000 fans ready to see his birthday parade. There Crosby will interact with his hometown community about his amazing experience in the NHL.$0$0$0$0This is something we can all learn from, as far as being a superstar athlete. Crosby is truly being a gentleman of the sport by giving back to his community while being on the top of his game. Sure there could be the Canadian pride factor of bringing the cup back "home", but I believe alot of our modern day athletes, especially in other sport league should learn the manner and productiveness Crosby does for his fans and community. Today sports has drifted to far into money and fame, and losing the communities that are the supporting base for every team and league in existence. And what Crosby is doing on his birthday, is a reminder of what makes sports great, the community support to be the best you can be. $0
