Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Doris Kearns Goodwin headlines The Halli Casser-Jayne Show, Wednesday, December 4, 3 pm ET when Halli also chats with award-winning American short story writer and novelist, Jill McCorkle and author Cassandra King.

No Ordinary Time: Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln are two of the books that Pulitzer Prize-winning American biographer, historian, political commentator and baseball enthusiast Doris Kearns Goodwin has given to the world. Now she adds to her long list of brilliant books The Bully Pulpit: Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, and the golden Age of Journalism.

Award-winning author Jill McCorkle has the distinction of having her first two novels published on the same day in 1984. The author of nine books – fours story collections and five novels – five of her books have been selected as the New York Times Notable books. She recently released her first novel in seventeen years, Life After Life, a book the New York Times says that “in its quiet way is a daring venture.”

In The Halli Casser-Jayne Show’s QA-3 segment, which airs directly following the weekly 3 pm ET broadcast, Halli will talk with bestselling Southern author Cassandra King about her newest book Moonrise.
