Henri Smothers, lives the principle that people should not be silent about things that matter, and Henri has been a voice for things that matter for many years. She has served in every leadership position in the PTA (Parent Teacher Association) at the local level over the last 25 years. At the state level she has served as the By-laws Chairperson and is currently serving on the Executive Committee as the Vice President of Legislation for Arkansas’ PTA.

Volunteerism has been a huge part of Henri’s life since the 70’s when she was in Junior High School. From the student council to the Student Government Association in College she has been actively involved in the education as well as her community. The Little Rock School District recently awarded the Jane Mendel Award for the top volunteer in the school district to Ms. HEnri. Henri has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis and is presently writing her thesis for a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice at UALR. She is the CEO of BE Keepers Unlimited, LLC, which offers free tutoring to students in Reading and Math.
