Project Turning Point, a program specifically created to address important issues girls are facing in our society. Among our services is a Leadership Academy for girls designed to point the way to fulfilling purpose in their lives.  It is our goal to teach our girls how to make wise and healthy choices by providing them with the skills and tools needed to boost their confidence!

Confidence is more than a smile, a walk or the way you "carry yourself". Confidence is the quiet assurance that you have within you all that is required for your individual success and happiness. Confidence is being able to set boundaries and make strong SMART decisions.

You were born unique! You are not a cookie cutter copy of your best friend, the girl in science class, or the girl next door. At PTP we help you to identify and understand your unique gifts and talents and how to apply them to everyday life.

BIO:  Mary Ann Jackson She is the founder and director of Project Turning Point, a leadership academy that is designed to help young women realize their potential through creating an awareness of the connection between the development of spirit, soul and body.

She has worked in the field of education for thirty-eight years having served as a classroom teacher, resource specialist, staff developer and culminated her career as a school administrator for the Tucson Unified Schools in Tucson, Arizona.

Mary Ann believes that her purpose is to help young girls in whatever way she can because of the challenges she faced and overcame as a young woman. Now more than ever it definitely takes a village to raise children, particularly in these critical and uncertain days ahead. It is her hope that this program will be a critical link in helping families and the school system to effectively provide guidance and direction in helping our young women to fulfill purpose and destiny.
