Since July generally hosts LBGTQ Pride events through the country, The Final Word Podcast has been addressing pivotal issues and moments throughout our shared history. Having ravaged the LGBTQ community for thirty years, the HIV/AIDS crisis has robbed too many of their futures while continuing to push survivors into a corner as they face discrimination from their co-workers, peers, family and friends. Tonight, we will be discussing the history of this pandemic but more importantly we will be sharing with you stories from survivors and discussing the many medical advancements made to combat this disease.
